Applebee’s and IHOP Dual-Branded Restaurant Coming to Wisconsin Rapids
Applebee’s and IHOP Dual-Branded Restaurant Coming to Wisconsin Rapids
Applebee’s and IHOP are continuing to expand their new dual branded restaurant concept across the United States, and Wisconsin Rapids is officially getting one of the next locations.
Franchise operator Siyavoush Solemani Group confirmed that new combined Applebee’s and IHOP restaurants are planned for both Wisconsin Rapids and Plover, Wisconsin. The announcement follows the opening of a similar dual branded location in Marshfield, which introduced the new dining concept to the regions officially getting one of the next locations.
The Wisconsin Rapids restaurant will open at 4311 Eighth St.S., the same location where Applebee’s operated for nearly two decades before closing in April 2025. The original Applebee’s restaurant first opened there in February 2005.
The dual branded concept allows customers to order menu items from both Applebee’s and IHOP under the roof. Guests can enjoy Applebee’s burgers, wings, and appetizers alongside IHOP pancakes, breakfast platters, and other popular breakfast items during the same visit.
Dine Brands, the parent company behind Applebee’s and IHOP, has been rapidly expanding this combined restaurant model after seeing strong customer interest in earlier locations. The company believes the concept helps attract both breakfast and dinner customers while offering more variety for families and groups.
An official opening date for the Wisconsin Rapids location has not yet been announced. More updates are expected as renovations and development plants move forward.
